the lower light
an anthology of queer ghost stories
About
Welcome to St. Issey's Cove, where the sky is blue, the water is bluer, and strange things keep washing up on the shore...
The Lower Light is a Gothic/horror/supernatural podcast focused on telling queer Gothic stories. It follows Laurie Caston, Head Curator of the lighthouse museum, as he delves into the history of the museum's artefacts and discovers their stories. There's a heavy emphasis on queerness (obviously), the human experience, sea symbolism (with a few sea shanties to boot) and the uncanny. You might like it if you enjoy The Magnus Archives, Welcome to Nightvale or Archive 81.
